Theodore Craig Meyer

Eleanore Grace Hansen Meyer
1922-2004
| Ted "Popi" Meyer was born in Saginaw, Michigan, the first son of Walter August Meyer (1890-1962) and Carolyn Craig Meyer (1890-1984). He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University in 1949. During his life "T.C." served in the US Navy during the Second World War, worked for the telephone company, was a building contractor, a real estate broker, and a mortgage broker. From 1960-62 he served as a City Commissioner for the City of Bartow, Florida. Eleanore "Mimi" Meyer was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Arthur John Hansen (1884-1976) and Elizabeth Margaret Mueller Hansen (1884-1974). Eleanore's work and passion in life was her four children, Craig, Douglas, Hans and Rebecca. Ted and Eleanore were married for 52 years when Ted passed on. Until his death he and Eleanore lived in Bartow. Eleanore moved to Tallahassee in 1998 to be near her sons Craig and Hans. This was after 22 years in Bartow. She settled into an apartment in Westminster Oaks until she passed in 2004. |
| Craig Meyer was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the first son of Ted and Eleanore Meyer. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Stetson University in 1970, and his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University in 1987. Craig is a Deputy Commissioner for the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Craig lives in Tallahassee, Florida with his wife, Karen Ann Benvenuti Meyer. |
| Douglas Meyer was born in Jacksonville, Florida, the second son of Ted and Eleanore Meyer. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music from Tulane University in 1974, his Masters of Music degree from The Juilliard School in 1977, and his Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business in 1979. Douglas lives in Manhattan with his wife, Ruth Falcon Meyer. |

| Hans Meyer was born in Decatur, Georgia, the third son of Ted and Eleanore Meyer. He received his Associate in Arts degree from Tallahassee Community College in 1990. Hans is the Director of Information Technology for the College of Communication at Florida State University. Susan Meyer was born in Durham, North Carolina, the daughter of Dr. G. Robert McKenzie, Jr, and Patricia Ann Dawson McKenzie. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of North Carolina in 1980. Susan is a Flight Attendant with USAirways. Hans and Susan were married in Lake Junaluska, North Carolina, in 1991. They live in Tallahassee, Florida where they share their home with their babies Anegada and Tar Heel. |

Rebecca is the President and Chief Operating Officer of the American Transportation Research Institute. Rebecca lives in Atlanta with her husband, Kevin Michael Brewster, and their sons, T.C. and Eric. |
